Requirements
To rent a car, you must be at least 21 years old (age may vary by car category) and have held your license for 1 year. A few car classes have a maximum rental age of 70 years. Drivers under the age of 25 may incur a young driver surcharge. Seatbelts are mandatory. Child seats are mandatory for children up to age 4.

Speed Limits
Speed limits in Poland are as follows: City - 37mph/60kph, Open Roads - 56mph/90kph, Highways 68mph/110kph.

Rules of the Road
It is obligatory for all vehicles to drive with dipped headlights at all times. Buses moving from a bus stop have the right of way. There are lots of unguarded railway crossings, which require driver's attention.

Gas
On the highways, gas stations are located roughly every 22mi/35km and are open from 6am to 10pm.

Tolls
Autostradas A1, A2 and A4 are toll highways.

Parking
Small cars can park half-on and half-off the sidewalk. Parking is illegal within 5.5 yards/meters of a crosswalk.
