RequirementsTo rent a car, you must be at least 21 years old (age may vary by car category) and have held your license for 2 years. Drivers under the age of 25 may incur a young driver

surcharge. Seat belts are compulsory in front and rear seats. Child seats are mandatory for children up to age 3 and children must be at least age 12 to sit in the front seat.
Rules of the RoadVehicles drive on the right-hand side of the road. Headlights must be used at all times. Rush hours in main cities are at 07:15–9:00 and 16:30–18:30.
Speed LimitsSpeed limits in Lithuania are as follows: City - 31mph/50kph, Open Roads - 56mph/90kph, Highways - 68mph/110kph (winter season), 80mph/130kph (summer season).
GasGas stations are well-equipped and widespread. Almost all modern gas stations are open 24 hours. The following gas stations are recommended: Statoil, Lukoil, Neste.
ParkingThere are parking meters in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipeda downtowns. Parking is prohibited within 15 metres of bus stops and within 5 metres of intersections.
