Requirements
To rent a car, you must be at least 19 years old (age may vary by car category) and have held your licence for one year. Drivers under the age of 25 may incur a young driver surcharge. Seatbelts are mandatory.

Speed Limits
Within city limits the speed limit is 30mph/50kph and on highways it is 54mph/90kph. On some roads the maximum speed is 60mph/100kph.

Rules of the Road
Drive on the right hand side of the road. Driving with lights on is required 24 hours a day.

Gas
Gasoline is available in the major cities and along major highways. Stations are not as frequent in less populated areas.

Tolls
There are no toll highways in Estonia.

Parking
Some areas of Estonia have established 'Pay and Display' parking, in these areas you will need to purchase a disc or ticket from a meter to display on your dashboard. Illegally parked cars will have a wheel clamp placed on them.
